I do not need to encounter a problem on my own pc to know about it. But causing a PC to shutdown is even worse and DEFINITELY a hardware issue. Hence why me and most people I know have yet to see a single BSOD in Win 10. They are NOT more prevalent in modern operating systems. I never claimed to be an authority but I sure as hell am more one than you claim to be! Because it's apparent you're very young and inexperienced. Please go and do some research, and oh dear, I can't help myself but I'm going to have to call you KID. It can be caused by software in the case of drivers, but again, very very rare. A BSOD is, to quote you, LITERALLY a hardware fault.

Most commonly BSODs are caused by bad RAM, overclocking without enough juice (volts) to your CPU, etc etc. Blue screens are generally caused by hardware issues and yes, in rare cases drivers. Please tell me more about problems that you have never encountered, while making yourself sound like some authority. So you have no clue how BSODs happen in modern systems, and that makes you an authority when it comes to BSODs?Īlso, a full system crash doesnt have to cause a BSOD, particuarly when its connected to the GPU - which is a known issue with AMD GPU drivers right now, but please tell me how that only happens with hardware. They are a lot more rare in modern operating systems than they were in win98, but that does not mean they dont exist. They are generally caused by driver conflicts, not hardware issues. What are you even talking about? A Blue Screen literally indicates a fatal software error that a system cannot recover from.
